German FAQ

1.

WHICH FIGURINES DO YOU PAINT?

We paint Historical, Fantasy, Tanks, Vehicles, Buildings, Air-crafts in Metal, Plastic, Resin and Flat-tin Figures in all scales of Any Historical Period.

2.

DO YOU NEED UNIFORM REFERENCES?

We have a large number of “Osprey” Reference Manuals / Books and numerous Web-pages, as Guidelines for Uniforms. But you have to mention the serial number and the page we should follow to paint your figures.

(A) - We deliver figurines painted to your specific, detailed requirements. In short …. We simply meet with your demand !

1. All you have to do is to send us a sample, with clearly written istructions in simple words … and we will take it from there. And …. Thank you for not writing long stories or a painting guide that is difficult to understand

2. A photograph or a clear picture along with the order will give us a clear idea and will avoid any miscommunications / lapses from us as well as from you. I.e., If you need different colours for uniforms please specifically mention so. Or else, the finished Product will be identical to the picture.

3. Please adhere to the final specifications that were placed originally with the order. Avoid as much as possible, changes / alterations / painting instructions that were placed along with the original order THIS IS THE MOST VULNERABLE AREA WHERE MANY MISTAKES CAN HAPPEN.

Kindly note that the original specifications / requirements shall be carried out as agreed at the time of the placement of order. No alterations to specifications will be entertained / accepted during the finishing process and or after completion of order. Any such last minute alterations will leave us with no choice but to charge you extra for all changes requested.


We strongly advise you to “sort and pack” the figurines under careful supervision, preferably by your self. Please handle with care all figurines with Bayonets, Swords, Flag-masts, Plumes etc., as these are easily damaged.

(B) - CAN I SEND FIGURINES DIRECT FROM THE MANUFACTURER?

" NO "

We DO NOT accept figurines direct from the manufacturer nor through other sources. .

IF THE FIGURINES ARE NOT PAINTED TO MY EXPECTATIONS, WHAT THEN?

If the final product has fallen short of your expectations due to our errors or miscommunications and on reasonable grounds etc, we shall undertake to re-paint it free of charge.

Any such complaints must be reported to us withing 14 days from date of receipt of parcel.

HOW DO YOU PAINT FIGURINES?

Well… this is how it goes……….

First ……The figurines are cleared of “Mould Lines” and……..

Then assembled if the figurines are in knocked-down form ……..

A Primer Paint Coat (Usually Grey) is applied to gain a smooth effect to the finished product.

( We also accept pre-prime coated figurines for painting )
Then the process of painting begins. Our hand-picked artists with dedication patience and attention to minute detail painstakingly bring into colourful life with the finest acrylic paints using customized fine-sable brushes. The paints are mixed and blended to perfection exclusively to your specific requirement at our factory equipped with the latest state-of-the-art equipment & accessories.

(ALL FIGURINES ARE MATT-VARNISHED INDIVIDUALLY PACKED WITH MAXIMUM CARE AND ATTENTION IN FOAM OR INDIVIDUAL BOXES AND PUT IN MASTER CARTOONS FOR SHIPMENT)

WHAT IS YOUR PRESENT WORK FORCE?“The Team” is 75+ hand-picked, dedicated skilled artists with plans for expansion. We handle an average of 60 - 70 orders per month at any given time.

HOW DO YOU PAINT HORSES WHEN THERE IS NO INSTRUCTION?

We Paint in colors that resemble and are closest to the “Natural and Real Thing” See Eg:-

HOW DO WE PAY FOR YOUR SERVICES?

Well…. That’s easy. Your options are………

PREFERABLY, FULL PAYMENT AT THE PLACEMENT OF ORDER, PLEASE

A) By Credit card

B) Western Union Money Trnsfers , Telegrahic Transfers (T/T) , Payoneer transfers or Wise (All foreign bank charges must be borne by the customer.) 

  WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAY PAL,MONEY ORDERS, PERSONAL CHEQUES OR OTHER METHODS OF MONEY TRANSFERS

WHICH METHOD OF TRANSPORT IS THE CHEAPEST, SAFEST & BEST TO SHIP FIGURINES TO SRI LANKA?

At present we have two  options;

1. .Air mail Parcel Post :- Parcels should be sent by Airmail Parcel Post to address given below.

2. UPS :- You can drop off the parcel to the nearest UPS drop off point. If you need this service, you need a Custom document and Airway bill from us to handover the parcel. No upfront payment and your charges will be added to your final invoice. If you require we can also arrange a UPS Pickup for you.

PLEASE USE ONLY COURIER SERVICES WHICH ARE RECOMENDED BY US TO SEND FIGURES. BUT YOU MUST INFORM US THE DETAILS BEFORE USING THE COURIER SETVICE BECAUSE WE HAVE TO SEND YOU DOCUMENTS FOR SRI LANKA CUSTOMS CLEARING..

WHAT HAPPENS IF A PARCEL IS MISS-HANDLED, LOST IN TRANSIT OR OTHERWISE, FROM SRI LANKA TO THE COUNTRY OF DESTINATION?

Dear customer, each and every shipment containing painted figurines is essentially Insured. So its quite unlikely and rare that a shipment gets lost and or misplaced. If misplaced / mishandled or lost we undertake to refund painting charges to you. You may either accept monetary compensation or keep it with us to be set off against your future orders.

HOW SOON OR WHAT ARE THE DEAD-LINES OF DELIVERY OF FINISHED PRODUCTS?

Delivery time will depend on quantity and quality of your order.

Can You buy Figures direct from the Figure manufactures? Yes! Old Glory and Expeditionary Force (54mm Plastic figures.)

12.

Do you quote exact painting charges before you receive the order? No, we can only give you an idea of the painting charge before we receive the order. Final charges can only be given after painting.

13.

Can I get a refund if I’m not satisfied or change of mind?    No.  Refunds will not be made.

We scan every figure lot before sending it to you, and if there is any quality concerns we will attend to them, as per your instructions. If you approve them, no complaints will be entertained after receipt of the order.
